The Two Ladders in Life
There are two ladders in our life.
These ladders help you to reach the sky.
Whilst you climb one of the ladders, at first, you will feel confident. Like it is really easy. Your heart rate will slowly rise, but you will go on. You won’t have any fear holding you back.
When you reach a certain height, you will look up to see how much of your journey is left. How much longer it is gonna take. But you won’t know, since from that point of view, you cannot count the steps. Then you will decide to look down to see how far you have climbed. Like you are looking at your past.
You will be scared.
You will be scared of how much you have achieved. You will be scared of the long journey, which awaits you. You will be scared of taking a wrong step and falling back to where you started. You will be scared of getting hurt.
This is fear.
Fear doesn’t stop you at first. But when you are on your way to your destination, it will try and stop you. Fear is one of the many things which holds you back. It is like a tire puncture. You are going on a long journey in your car. Nothing is holding you back. But all of a sudden, your car gets out of control. You come out and look at the flat tire. Punctured.
Just like a tire puncture, fear doesn’t stop you in your entire journey, but at some points. It is something you can defeat and move on. And once you defeat fear, it will be gone from your way for a long time. Fear is temporary, it stays in our mind when we think about failing. When we think about what will happen when we fail. Fear can be kicked out of your way. But it will come back again, thirsty for revenge and much worse than last time.
But every time it comes in your way, you must defeat it. And every time you do, you will become stronger. Fear doesn’t know that. It will never know that you are stronger than last time. And it will lose every time, only if you have the courage.
Whilst climbing the ladder, you will find many challenges. Some will be easy; some will be hard. Some might even push you out of the ladder.
These challenges can push you out of the ladder. Yes. But that doesn’t mean you lost. That means you will just be a bit late than others. Once these challenges push you out, all you got to do is grab the ladder, and start climbing again. You might fall, and might go back exactly where you started, but you have to start again. And now you will also know what is to come in your path.
Whilst falling, one must not close their eyes, and indulge fear in their bones. Instead, one must keep their eyes wide open, keep their body under control, and grab a step of the ladder, to start climbing, yet again.
At the beginning of the journey, you will find two kinds of ladder.
One of them will have small steps, easy to climb, but will make you very slow.
Another will have big steps, which will make you reach the sky within minutes.
If one must choose the ladder with the big steps, he must know the risk he is taking. He must stay smart. He must know if he can reach the steps since they are big, and hard to reach.
If one must choose the ladder with small steps, he must be very fast, since his ladder will be slowing him down.
Whilst, climbing ladders, one must have the courage to take the risk of climbing another step. Despite the fact, that he is unknown to what might come next. He must stay brave. Humans are scared of unknown, and that is why most of us do not take another step into the darkness.
Our future is a cave, full of darkness. If we do not move further, we will rot in the same place. If we move back, we will end up in the same place, wasting our time. If we take the risk to go into the darkness, then there is a good chance of what might we discover. Maybe a light, reflecting on an ocean full of treasure. Or a swamp, with a monster in it. But if we do not move further, we will never know, and we will end up being someone, unknown to the world.
It was my promise to myself, that whatever happens, my death will change the world. My death will affect the world. And I believe that this should be every one’s priority.
Live to change the world. Die to change the world.
Do everything in order to change the world
